Registered nurse, holistic nurse counselor, and polarity practitioner for over 30 years.

Polarity therapy and holistic health and illness prevention.

What would you tell someone who is considering massage therapy school?
Pick a school that has a well-rounded program of personal growth and self-awareness as well as teaches the traditional massage curriculum.

What is one thing you wish you had known before you became a massage therapist?
I wish I had known about Polarity Therapy—even before I chose a nursing career.

Name one person who has had an impact on your life and explain why:
There have been many amazing mentors in my life that have inspired me. Dr. Randolph Stone, Polarity’s founder, spoke a language of healthcare and prevention that shaped my life. Many of his students were my teachers.

What is your favorite thing about teaching at ASIS Massage Education and why?
Teaching teaches me and keeps me interested in going deeper into my thoughts and feelings and walking my talk.

Vacation…beach, woods, desert, or mountains?
Beach, mountains, desert, woods, I have lived with and in them all and all have reflected and supported phases of my own life and awareness. Deserts with beaches? I’d like to try that one! Camping with me husband.

Favorite meal?
Eating lobster with salad on a pennisula on the Maine coast, and following with freshly baked Maine blueberry pie!

Favorite quote?
Be the change you want to see!

Describe your most significant interaction with a client or student:
The moments when consciousness becomes strong enough to drop the projections of blame and take responsibility for making the changes needed and I can just support the process and be an energetic midwife.
