Featured Faculty: Morgan “Mo” Taith

moMorgan Taith, LMT, MMP, studied massage therapy at the Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts. After graduation she continued studying to earn certifications in Gua Sha, Medical Massage, and Ayurveda. Mo is passionate about guiding and teaching her students at ASIS, where she is an instructor and admissions counselor.

How long have you been practicing massage therapy?
Since February of 2010.

What is your favorite modality to teach?
Ayurveda and Connective Tissue.

What would you tell someone who is considering massage therapy school?
It will change your life.

What is one thing you wish you had known before you became a massage therapist?
That it would take me places in my soul that I would never have imagined possible.

Jon Sadler—he taught me to be genuine.

What is your favorite thing about teaching at ASIS Massage Education and why?
I love sharing my knowledge and watching my students fly.

Vacation…beach, woods, desert, or mountains?
Woods.

Pastina—it’s Italian baby food.

When I watch students work and I realize they’re dancing.
