Community Class – Massage for Happy Healthy Baby – Mesa Campus

Learn the basics of infant massage and on how beneficial and simple it is to include it in your daily life. Help your baby sleep better, have less discomfort and bond with the family. Instructor will lead the class through simple massage techniques they can use on their baby while talking about the benefits of adding infant massage to your family routine. Instructor will also discuss common infant ailments and show some massage techniques to help ease discomfort. Participants will receive massage oil and handouts to bring home.
Instructor Bio: Michelle received her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1999. After teaching English in Japan for 2 years, she moved to Arizona and received her Associates of Applied Science in Massage Therapy in 2003. She has run her own successful massage therapy practice and currently works in a chiropractic setting. She is the Education Director for ASIS Massage Education and enjoys introducing new students to the art of massage therapy. Michelle completed her Certified Infant Massage Teacher training from the ‘Liddle Kidz Foundation’ in 2015 after having her son and meeting many families who could benefit from learning massage for their babies. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, tap dancing, crochet and volunteering for an animal shelter.
