Introduction to Cranial Sacral and Myofascia Release -Mesa October 2025

Introduction to Cranial Sacral and MyoFascia Release

This highly experiential class introduces students to the healing principles and applications of both
cranial sacral therapy and myofascial release. Together, we will explore the subtle movements of the
cranial and sacral bones and examine how fascial restrictions influence the entire body, both physically
and emotionally. The class is structured as an interactive, hands-on learning experience. Participants
will not only hear about the history and theory behind these methods but will also practice and feel the
techniques in action. Time is taken to observe and sense the unwinding process, with opportunities to
both give and receive work. The focus is on teaching practitioners how to feel and sense deeper layers
of the body, learning to recognize holding patterns and gently release them. An important part of this
training is integration. Students will see how cranial sacral and myofascial release techniques can be
woven into a regular massage session, enhancing therapeutic results without requiring a separate
full-session approach—though practitioners will also learn when a focused cranial or myofascial
session may be appropriate. The goal of this course is to expand each therapist’s toolbox with subtle,
powerful skills that support profound physical and energetic healing at every level.

Instructor Bio: Mercedez Lucke-Benedict, LMT,
NCBTMB Board-Certified Instructor

Mercedez Lucke-Benedict is a nationally certified massage therapist and NCBTMB Board-Certified
Instructor with more than 17 years of experience in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, intraoral
TMJ therapy, and integrative bodywork. She is widely recognized as a Pain Release Specialist and
formerly served as head of the TMJ department at Medicine Wheel Dental and Wellness, where she
specialized in treating jaw dysfunction, tinnitus, trigeminal nerve pain, and chronic migraines. Her
work also extended to helping clients recover from emotional and physical trauma, sports injuries, car
accidents, head-to-toe body pain, and the unwinding of trauma stored in the body from injuries and life
events.

Her journey into this work began after surviving two back-to-back car accidents and near-death
experiences that left her unable to walk for a period of time. Through these therapies she not only
healed, but also developed her own unique methods and “special techniques” that evolved from her
personal recovery, deep practice, and intuitive insight. Today, the very approaches that restored her life
and mobility — along with the new techniques she created — are what she teaches to other therapists.
For Mercedez, this work is not just professional; it is the result of her own lived healing and
transformation.

Her teaching style is hands-on and experiential, encouraging students to see, feel, and practice each
technique while learning to sense the deeper patterns within the body. She integrates her intuitive
abilities as a seer, helping students understand both the physical and energetic aspects of healing. She
currently practices at Dove Mountain Chiropractic and Massage, maintains a private practice working
with clients by phone and from her home studio, and continues to teach classes that empower therapists
to bring the same relief to their clients that once saved her life.
Mercedez has taught continuing education at ASIS Massage in Tucson (with expansion to ASIS in
Mesa), the Massage CE Institute of Tucson, and has also led private trainings, workshops, and lectures.
She is the author of Through the Veil: A Journey of Remote Viewing, Spirit Communication, and
Healing — which shares her life and abilities as a remote viewer and seer — and A Better You Through
Prayer and Fasting. She was recently featured on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, where she
spoke about her work in remote viewing, spiritual healing, and her extraordinary life path.
Her mission as both practitioner and teacher is clear: to help therapists help themselves, and in turn,
help others — releasing pain, restoring balance, and opening the way for transformation on every level:
physical, emotional, and spiritual.
