Integrative Cupping Class Series
This series may be taken as a full program or as individual classes. The Foundations class must be taken first, but all other classes may be taken in any order.
Integrative Cupping: Foundations
Date: Friday, August 6, 2021 Time: 9am-6pm 8CE Hours-Live
In this class, students learn the basics and foundations of cupping. It is the prerequisite class for the other classes in the series. This class discusses the theories of negative pressure and how cupping affects different body systems, as well as the benefits, contraindications, and precautions for cupping as bodywork. Students practice hands-on application of cups, working with various pressure levels and techniques.

Integrative Cupping: Upper Body
Date: Saturday, August 7, 2021 Time: 9am-1pm 4CE Hours-Live
The Upper Body Course dives deeper into specific cupping applications of the upper body. This class reviews upper body lymphatic pathways and contraindications for cupping, along with common upper body conditions and dysfunctions. Students will perform hands-on application of cups for conditions involving the thoracic region, posterior and anterior shoulder, elbow joint, forearm, and hand. Individual Class Price: $90
Integrative Cupping: Lower Body
Date: Saturday, August 7, 2021 Time: 2pm-6pm 4CE Hours-Live
The Lower Body Course dives deeper into specific cupping applications of the lower body. This class reviews lower body lymphatic pathways and contraindications for cupping, along with common lower body conditions and dysfunctions. Students will perform hands-on application of cups for conditions involving hips, quadriceps, hamstrings, lower leg, and foot.

Integrative Cupping: Face and Abdomen
Date: Sunday, August 8, 2021 Time: 9am-1pm 4CE Hours-Live
The Face and Abdomen Course dives deeper into cupping applications. This class reviews of lymphatic pathways for the head, neck, and face. You will learn application, techniques, common conditions, and contraindications for cupping the face and abdomen specifically. Students will perform hands-on applications for sinus pressure, TMJ dysfunction, lymphatic drainage, and digestive dysfunctions. Individual Class Price: $90

About the Instructor:
Morgan is a licensed massage therapist and massage educator located in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is the owner of Integrative Manual Bodywork, a practice that takes an integrative approach to manual therapy focusing on pain management, injury rehabilitation, and life in general. He received his training from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Mt. Kisco, NY, and holds a license to practice massage therapy in the state of Arizona and New York. Morgan is a massage instructor at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies, where he enjoys having a hand in helping students become new therapists. He is a Board Approved Continuing Education Provider through NCBTMB, and also teaches with Advanced BodyWork Education and LMT Success Group. He creates a dynamic learning environment with an energetic teaching style, keeping classes interactive and creative. As an educator, his focus is on enhancing skills and helping each massage therapist grow in their own unique styles.
Presented by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies - This course will assist therapists in developing treatment sequences for the management of edema of various geneses including post-traumatic and post-surgical edema; as well as several pathologies such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, chronic pain reduction and others.
Kinesiology is the study of the mechanics of movement. In this class, we will build on participants’ kinesiology knowledge to explore how understanding how our muscles move can enhance our treatment planning and massage sessions. We will review joint movements, muscle attachments and movements and strategies to palpate these muscles efficiently. We will use these tools to explore how we can incorporate this knowledge into treatment planning, providing our clients an effective massage session. This course is a series of 6, 3-hour classes broken down into different regions of the body. Participants may choose any number of classes in the series to attend in any order.
