Structural Integration and Injury Rehab for the Lower Extremities

The purpose of this class is to teach the basics of structural integration, to help blend various modalities designed to assist therapists in incorporating various tools and strokes to better serve their diverse population of clients, with focus on common injuries and pathologies of the lower extremities.

The class will cover principles and benefits of Connective Tissue Therapy, Neuromuscular Techniques, rehabilitation treatment, and stretching for various outcomes, such as increased performance, injury prevention, and tissue repair.

Instructor Erin Koenig has been practicing bodywork since 2000, with a focus in her career on Injury Rehabilitation, sports massage, and connective tissue work. She was on the Sports Massage Team for the US Open Track and Field Championships at Stanford University in 2001, and was the official Massage Therapist for the Cesar Gracie Fight
Team out of Concord, CA in 2004-2005. She has been a massage instructor since 2010 in Northern Arizona, teaching Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology, NMT, Sports Massage and Injury Rehabilitation. She resides in Northern Arizona with her husband and 2 children
