Connective Tissue Techniques for the Shoulders

Most neck and shoulder pain is due to imbalances found in the ribcage & spine.  This workshop will develope the skills and hands-on techniques necessary for assessing and addressing dysfunctions in these areas.  You will be introduced to the postural patterns that are the cause of recurring shoulder and neck pain and dysfunction, and will learn hands-on techniques for addressing the dysfunctions you observe.

The goals of this workshop are:

Comprehensive visula assessment for assessing dysfunction in the upper body.

Accurate assessment of which tissues to engage for effective relief of chronic pain and dysfunction.

Effective hands-on techniques for addressing shoulder and neck dysfunction.

Movement awareness exercises for
educating yourself and clients on efficient and proper use of the shoulder girdle. 

Layna Cirelli Certified KMI Structural Integration, Movement Education. An instructor with Arizona School of Integrative Studies,  Layna has been a certified and licensed therapist since 1995.  She has been teaching Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and connective tissue therapy since 2002, and offers various continuing education seminars in movement education and advanced connective tissue therapy.
