Myofascial Restoration: Shoulder Girdle and Upper Extremities- Flagstaff- September 2026

In this class:

  • We will debunk some common misconceptions held by massage therapists.
  • We will learn the Anatomy of Fascia, how it responds to our touch, and how it differs from muscle tissue.
  • We will practice palpating each layer of soft tissue, and become familiar with the feel of the myofascial layer.
  • We will learn a full treatment routine from beginning to end using Myofascial techniques. (This "routine" is intended to be a starting point, a helpful baseline for those that work best by seeing what a full treatment might look like. Therapists are encouraged to apply their own unique artistry and skill to customize what they've learned once they leave the classroom).
  • We will be able to answer, "What am I doing, and why?" by the completion of this course!

Melissa Voight has been a Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist  for 20+ years, and a Board Certified Structural Integrator for 15. She is passionate about helping her clients, and began teaching in 2018 to share that passion with as many people as she could. Myofascial Restoration has been Melissa's speciality from very early in her career, so she is thrilled to teach a technique that she has expert knowledge of and practices every day

    This course will cover massage techniques, client positioning, draping and efficient therapist body mechanics when addressing and relieving pain and symptoms from whiplash, torticollis, wry neck and general chronic and acute neck pain.

  • Essentials of Cranial-Sacral Flagstaff - July 2026 - Flagstaff

    July 25th 2026, 10am-4:30pm, with a lunch break midday

    This introductory class provides a working knowledge and techniques for Cranial-Sacral therpy.

  • Cranial-Sacral Part II Flagstaff- July 2026 - Flagstaff

    July 26th 2026, 10am-4:30pm, with a lunch break midday

    A continuation of my Essentials of Cranial-Sacral class. A short review and then we will cover additional techniques that involve the following cranial and facial bones: ethmoid bone, zygoma, and the mandible. We will also be doing Cranial-Combos utilizing techniques from both trainings.

August:

  • Level 1: Thai Massage Essentials Flagstaff - August 2026 - Flagstaff

    August 8th - August 9th 2026 , 10am-4:30pm, with a lunch break midday

    Entire class is presented and practiced on a Thai floor mat. A basic introduction to Thai Massage that is suitable for new students.
