SUMMARY:Craniosacral Level II: Riding the Wave\, Touching Stillness
DESCRIPTION:Level II of Riding the Wave\, Touching Stillness\, introduces students to practices to treat neck tension\, Temporo-mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD)\, sinusitis\, and migraine headaches\, as well as an introduction to a practice called Fluid Limbs that works with the potential of gently releasing patterns of tension\, trauma\, and inertia in the body. \n\nThe anatomy and function of the temporomandibular joint\, the membrane system\, and sinuses will be looked at as students are taught the techniques and contacts for treatment of issues and patterns related to these structures. The Fluid Limbs practice is a process of taking off the effect of gravity to an arm or leg\, to invite a letting go of a dysfunctional pattern. Students will deepen into the practice of sensitizing to the tidal expressions of Primary Respiration.\n\nMassage therapists will be able to start incorporating these concepts and contacts into their massages right away. They will also come away with some suggested sequences to practice whole hour long sessions of craniosacral work.\n\nInstructor: Heidi Wilson Heidi Wilson has been practicing craniosacral work since 1994. She is certified in Visionary Craniosacral work from the Milne Institute. She has also studied biodynamic methods from Charles Ridley\, Jan Jones\, Ryan Halford\, Franklyn Sills and Debra Meness\, D.O. \n\nCEU: 20\nCost: $295\nEarly Registration: $250 if paid 30 days in advance
