SUMMARY:Understanding the Twelve Meridians
DESCRIPTION:Understanding the 12 Meridians will teach the location\, organization\, and theory of the 12 Organ meridians along with many acu-point locations.\n\nThis course will give students a comprehensive view of the 12 organ meridians. It will include charting\, graphing\, qigong exercises\, and discussion of the 12 meridians. The course will cover the 12 meridians in association with the meridian locations\, yin-yang\, the body clock\, the five elements\, the organs\, the six hand/foot divisions\, the six heaven/earth meridian partners\, and how to utilize these associations during hands on application. This course will also include the location of beginning points\, entry points\, source points\, exit points\, and end points for each of the 12 organ meridians. This course will be especially valuable for anyone who wants to know more about Tui Na\, Shiatsu Asian bodywork practices.\n\nLearning Goals:\n\n \tUnderstand the location of each of the 12 meridians.\n \tUnderstand the 12 meridians in relationship to yin-yang theory\, the body clock\, the five elements\, the organs.\n \tDemonstrate knowledge of the beginning points\, entry points\, source points\, exit points\, and end points for each of the 12 organ meridians.\n \tUnderstand how to use basic meridian theory to balance the 12 meridians.\n\nInstructor T.J. Fritz\, LMT has been practicing and teaching Taiji Qigong and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan for over a decade.
