SUMMARY:Tai Ji Qigong Massage
DESCRIPTION:Taiji Qigong Massage will teach still\, moving\, and partner Qigong exercises alongside the practical hands-on application of pressing\, grasping\, and circular rubbing techniques as components of hand-on therapy.\n\nLearn the fundamentals of Taiji Qigong\, a basic form of Taiji Qigong\, and how to apply Taiji Qigong methods at the table. Class will include classic Yin /Yang and Taiji Qigong principles. These classic principles are applied to the basic Taiji Qigong exercises and then incorporated at the table with Taiji Qigong massage techniques that include pressing\, grasping\, and circular rubbing. Class is 50% self-help and 50% application of techniques. Taiji Qigong embodies the unity of mind\, body\, and energy (Qi).\n\nPriests\, martial artists\, therapeutic bodyworkers\, and physicians around the world have applied themselves to learning the internal working of Taiji Qigong mechanics and Qi awareness skills. This class will hone the body-energy work skills of novice and seasoned therapists alike!\n\nCome join us! Qigong is a fun and energetic practice that includes lots of movement so be sure to wear loose comfortable clothing.\n\nLearning Goals:\n\n \tBasic Qigong Theory\n \tYin-Yang Theory\n \tProper Body/Energy Mechanics\n \tBasic Qigong Postures and Movements\n \tApplication Taiji Qigong principles while applying bodywork techniques.\n\nInstructor T.J.
